Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Edgewatch”, “we”, “us”) for the Edgewatch mobile apps and the website edge-watch.com (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Edgewatch is, and isn’t

  • Edgewatch is an information and analytics service. It displays and analyses public data about traders on the prediction market Polymarket.
  • Edgewatch does not offer wagering, betting, gambling, trading, brokerage, custody or deposits. You cannot place a bet or a trade, or move money, in the Service.
  • Edgewatch is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Polymarket or any exchange. “Polymarket” is a trademark of its owner, used only to describe the data source.
  • We do not receive commissions, affiliate fees or payment for placement from any trader, market or platform.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing in the Service, including star ratings, skill labels, Smart Money, alerts, the copy simulator, AI-generated summaries and the Edge Report, is financial, investment, legal, tax or betting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any position. Ratings and simulations are statistical descriptions of past public data. Our own published testing shows they predict future results only modestly, and individual traders can and do lose. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for complying with the laws that apply to you, including whether prediction markets are legal where you live.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service. You must not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by law.

4. Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You can delete your account at any time in the App (Account → Delete Account) or as described at edge-watch.com/delete-account.

5. Edgewatch Pro subscriptions

  • Plans: Edgewatch Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, weekly (1 week) or monthly (1 month). Pro unlocks profiles of 2–5★ traders, unlimited tracking and premium insights such as the copy simulator. The price for your region is shown in the App before you buy.
  • Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account (App Store) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Pro until then. Deleting the App or your Edgewatch account does not cancel a subscription.
  • Free trials: we do not currently offer free trials. If we offer one, its length will be shown before purchase, and any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Price changes: if the price changes, Apple or Google will notify you as their rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play: play.google.com). We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly. Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
  • Referral codes may give a discounted offer. Codes have no cash value, may expire or be limited in number, and may be withdrawn if misused.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape, bulk-download or resell data from the Service; reverse engineer or interfere with the Service or its security; access it with bots or automated means other than our apps; use it to harass, defame or accuse any person (for example, labelling a trader an “insider”); or use it in violation of any law. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.

7. Data accuracy and availability

Data comes from third parties (Polymarket’s public APIs and the Polygon blockchain) and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Alerts may be delayed or not delivered because of networks, operating systems or upstream outages. “Unusual activity” and similar labels describe statistical outliers and are never an allegation of wrongdoing. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and features may change.

8. AI-generated content

Some text (trader style summaries, weekly briefs) is generated by an AI model from public data. It may contain errors and is a description, not a recommendation.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, ratings methodology presentation and Edge Reports, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and, for the iOS App, the Apple Media Services Terms. You may share screenshots and share cards from the App with attribution.

10. Third-party services and links

The Service links to third-party sites such as Polymarket so you can verify data. We are not responsible for them, and your use of them is under their terms.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any trading, betting or investment losses, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service; if we discontinue Pro, we will tell you in advance so you can cancel your subscription.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes will be resolved in the courts of [VENUE], except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, tell you in the App before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

17. Additional terms for the iOS App

If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store: (a) these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content; (b) your licence is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms; (c) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; (d) if the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation; (e) we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance and consumer protection claims; (f) we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights; (g) you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties; (h) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
